Wall Street now has its own Long Island Princess
You guys know who Joey Lauren is, right?
She's easily the best character on the Bravo reality show "Long Island Princesses." And "Long Island Princesses" is, according to the Daily Beast's Andrew Romano, one of the most important television shows of our age. (Other people think it's offensive.)
Joey Lauren Brodish was cast as "The Entreprenuer." She runs a company called Kissamint, which sells a product that promises to be a lip conditioner and a mouth freshener "together in one."
You can read about the history of Kissamint on her blog here.
So we've learned that Joey Lauren has recently taken her capitalism a step further—right to Wall Street. She's now working at Barclays in the (formerly Lehman Brothers) Times Square headquarters, according to other people at the bank. We weren't able to learn exactly what her position is.
Barclays declined comment on this very important development. Joey Lauren didn't respond to an email from CNBC.com (which totally crushed us.)

[Full disclosure: Bravo is part of NBC Universal and so is CNBC. Prior to writing this post, I have never used the phrase "mouth freshener" although I've had experience with mints and mouth wash. Also, I have never watched a full episode of "Long Island Princesses" so my earlier statement that Joey Lauren is the best character is based merely on reading about the show.]
