After-hours buzz: GNC, Praxair, Del Monte & more

GNC - The health and nutrition products retailer said it has acquired Discount Supplements, a multi-brand sports nutrition e-commerce retailer in the United Kingdom. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately available. Shares were unchanged in extended-hours trading.

Praxair - The industrial gas producer and supplier increased its credit agreement to $2 billion from $1.75 billion, according to the company's 8-K filing. Shares were unchanged in extended-hours trading.

Fresh Del Monte - The canned fruit and vegetables maker announced it has acquired 7,200 acres of production land, packing houses and farm equipment in Florida and Virginia. Financials terms of the transaction were not immediately disclosed. Shares were unchanged in extended-hours trading.

Applied Micro - The tech company appointed Doug Ahrens as its new CFO. Ahrens most recently served as the vice president of finance at Maxim Integrated. Shares gained in extended-hours trading.
