Apple isn't finished showing off new products just yet. The company is planning to host a media event later this month where it is expected to show off its updated iPads, according to a report.

The tech giant has scheduled the event for Oct. 22, according to a report from All Things D, which cites people close to the matter. Apple stock moved up slightly on the news. (What are Apple shares doing now? Click here)

The new version of the full size iPad will likely feature a thinner, lighter body and run Apple's 64-bit A7 chip. The iPad mini is expected to have the A7 chip and an upgraded retina display.

In addition to the new iPads, it's likely Apple will also show off its new Mac Pro and OS X Mavericks, the report said.
