Barry Glassman is founder and president of Glassman Wealth Services. He enjoys educating clients and believes that liquid alternative assets are crucial in today's investment environment.
Glassman actively contributes financial commentary to the press and has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Money, Bloomberg Businessweek and USA Today. Glassman has also appeared on CNBC and other national TV channels.
He served as chairman of the National Financial Planning Association's Tax Sub-Committee and chairman and president of the FPA's National Capital Area Chapter. In addition, for six years he held a seat on the International Association for Financial Planning's board of directors.
Outside of finance, Glassman is active with the National Brain Tumor Society, serving as national board member, volunteer and fundraiser. A resident of McLean, Va., Glassman graduated from George Washington University with a bachelor's degree in finance.
