Time to toss that TV remote.
Twitter has struck a first-of-its-kind deal with Comcast that would allow the cable company's customers to tune into a TV show, directly from a tweet.
We'll need more than 140 characters to fully explain the feature, but in a nutshell Twitter users would click on a "See It" button that would allow them to tune into live programming be it on their set top, smartphone or tablet. If they can't get to a screen to watch a show live, "See It" would allow them to set their DVR on the fly.
Novel idea, but what's in it for the cable giant? Will "See It" drive ratings?
