The Nasdaq OMX on Friday suffered yet another trading outage, its second in a week.

The market said in a statement that it halted trading on its secondary options market, at approximately 10:36 a.m. EDT. Nasdaq did not disclose the nature of the outage, but said equity options and other securities were trading normally.

On Tuesday, the second-largest U.S. exchange caused a 44-minute blackout at the height of afternoon trading on Wall Street, which the Nasdaq attributed to "human error."
