After-hours buzz: Tenet, VeriFone & Jabil

Check out which companies are making headlines after the bell Tuesday:

Tenet Healthcare - Shares fell after Citigroup said the hospital industry's November admissions were the "weakest" ever.

VeriFone Systems - Shares of the provider of electronic-payment solutions fell in after-hours trading after the company projected an adjusted first-quarter profit of 26 cents on adjusted revenue between $425 million to $430 million, below estimates of a profit of 32 cents on revenue of $428 million.

Jabil Circuit - Shares of the provider of electronic-manufacturing services fell in after-hours trading after its fiscal first-quarter profit came in below expectations. The company also said it would sell its aftermarket-services business for $725 million.
