Midday movers: Twitter, Tesla, J.C. Penney & more
Take a look at some of Thursday's midday movers:
EBay - Shares declined after research firm ChannelAdvisor reported a slowdown in the online auctioneer's sales.
Tesla - Shares of the manufacturer of electric cars climbed after a China Daily report that it would attempt to open additional showrooms in China next year.
Twitter - Shares of the social network rallied, continuing a climb that Bloomberg reported comes on the belief the company would draw additional advertising revenue.
Blackberry - Shares of the struggling company fell after the Wall Street Journal reported co-founder Michael Lazaridis dropped an effort to buy the smartphone maker.
T-Mobile US - Shares of the wireless carrier rose after Reuters cited sources close to the matter saying Japan's SoftBank was in talks to acquire the company.
