Midday movers: Twitter, Crocs, Walt Disney & More

Take a look at some of Monday's midday movers:

Walt Disney - The entertainment company rose after Guggenheim Securities upgraded its shares to buy from neutral.

Twitter - Shares of the social networking company slid, extending a drop that came after Macquarie Capital downgraded its shares, saying they had surged too much and too rapidly.

Kandi Technologies Group - Shares jumped on reports the China-based carmaker plans to make 100,000 vehicles available to people in the city of Hangzhou at an hourly rate.

Crocs - Shares of the plastic-clogs maker rallied after it said its CEO would retire April 30 and Blackstone Group would invest $200 million in convertible preferred stock in the company.

Cooper Tire & Rubber - The U.S. tire maker's shares declined after it axed plans to merge with Apollo Tyres, saying financing for the deal is no longer feasible after a valuation disagreement with its Indian rival.

Myriad Genetics - Shares of the supplier of genetic tests for breast cancer dropped after Piper Jaffray cut its price estimate to $29 from $36 after the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services proposed reducing reimbursements for the diagnostic service by roughly 49 percent.

WPCS International - Shares of the maker of engineering services for communications infrastructure dropped sharply after its auditor resigned.
