Want even higher (ULTRA) resolution on your TV?

The evolution of your television seems to be on warp speed. They're 3D, they're bendable—they do everything, these days, short of making you a sandwich.

The introduction of HD—high-definition—was a game-changer for TV. Suddenly, filmmakers had to shoot differently and actors needed different makeup to minimize how many pores and acne scars we were seeing.

Well, apparently the TV industry has decided that we have,in fact, not gotten CLOSE ENOUGH. And so, the latest thing is UHD—ultra high definition, also referred to as 4K. That means, it delivers four times the resolution of HD TV—8 million pixels vs. 2 million pixels.
