Microsoft in investment, content deal with Foursquare

Microsoft has invested $15 million in check-in app Foursquare and will use the company's data in Bing search results and on other platforms.

The deal will generate extra cash for Foursquare and is also being seen as a proof-of-concept for the company's data.
