Mozilla says new chip paves way for $25 smartphone

Mozilla, which continues to pitch its Firefox OS as a way to create low-cost smartphones, on recently announced a chip deal it said will allow for devices that can cost as little as $25.
The browser maker is partnering with Spreadtrum to create reference designs of such phones.
