Amazon is in talks with music companies to provide a streaming service for customers of its Amazon Prime program, which is facing a price increase, The Wall Street Journal reports.
Amazon hopes the service would lure people to the program, which offers unlimited two-day shipping and video streaming for $79 a year. The Journal says Amazon is planning to add more services to prime and raise the price to as much as $119 a year.
The Journal, which cited people familiar with the plans, said Amazon declined to comment.
