As EU elections loom, do you know your MEP?

Voters across Europe will head to the polls this May to elect the European Union's Parliament, and a major struggle over the region's powers and role could be in store.

As well as the rise of the far right in countries including the U.K. and France, other hot-button issues facing the parliament include immigration, stubbornly high unemployment and the thorny issue of member countries' finances.

But participation in these elections has been notoriously low, with voters in some countries – such as the U.K. - relatively uninterested in EU politics.

So as the elections looms, would you be able to identify your Member of the European Parliament (MEP)?
