New company Lumoid hopes to become go-to camera rental site

Even though its market is getting hit hard by the proliferation of smartphones, there are times when consumers want to use an actual digital camera. And that's what Lumoid wants to capitalize on, Re/code reports.

Prices range from $5 to $25 per day per item, except for accessories, which are listed for purchase. You can order camera bodies and lenses online, which then arrive by mail in careful packaging.
