After-hours buzz: Allergan, MetLife, Yelp & more

Check out which companies are making headlines after the bell Wednesday:

Allergan - The botox maker gained in after-hours trading after Bloomberg News reported the company, already the target of a nearly $46 billion offer from Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, was soliciting interest from other possible acquirers, including Sanofi and Johnson & Johnson.

Chevron - The oil producer's shares were unchanged in after-hours trade after raising its quarterly dividend by 7 percent to $1.07.

MetLife - The insurance provider fell in after-hours trading after reporting first-quarter results that disappointed.

Weight Watchers - The diet company gained in after-hours trading after tallying better-than-expected first-quarter profit and raising its fiscal 2014 earnings guidance.

Yelp - The online local guide edged higher in after-hours trading after the company posted better-than-expected first-quarter results.
