One of Singapore's most famous fashion exports - Ashley Isham - told CNBC that when he met and dressed international pop star Lady Gaga, he thought she was "fantastic."
The Singapore-grown, London-based designer was back home for the Audi Fashion Festival 2014 taking place in the city state this week, showcasing his latest designs on the catwalk.
Isham has dressed a host of female celebrities, including the likes of Kylie Minogue, Christina Aguilera, Princess Zara Philips, Florence Welch and Lady Gaga.
When he met Kylie Minogue, Isham told CNBC he was impressed by the Australian singer's kind and caring attitude.
"I really enjoyed working with Kylie Minogue and she's always been so kind, so sweet and so thoughtful," said Isham.
"For example when I first visited her I was very nervous, she asked me if she could get me a drink and I asked her for a glass of water, and she actually went to the kitchen herself to fetch me one when she has a PA (personal assistant) and a housekeeper but she personally gave it to me," he said.
Isham, who has lived in London since 1996, achieved his career breakthrough at London Fashion Week in 2003 after showing his Autumn/Winter 2003 collection.
