You may already be among the lucky few.

According to a report in Engaget, Amazon has emailed some customers and offered them a 30-day free trial of its $99 Fire TV box. If customers are unhappy, they can return the box free of charge, as long as the box is kept in "new" condition.

The set-top box was launched last month to much fanfare, though somewhat mixed reviews.

The launch of Fire TV has also led to Amazon being sued by a very curious company.
