After-hours buzz: Restoration Hardware, Sigma & more

Check out which companies are making headlines after the bell Wednesday:

Restoration Hardware Holdings - The home furnishings retailer reported first-quarter earnings per share of 18 cents, excluding items, on $366.3 million in revenue. Analysts had expected EPS of 11 cents on $348 million in sales. Its shares jumped in after-hours trading.

Sigma Designs - The provider of integrated chip sets tallied a first-quarter adjusted loss of 14 cents on $36.9 million in revenue. Analysts estimated an EPS loss of 15 cents on $37 million in sales. Its shares dropped in after-hours trading.

TIBCO Software - The provider of business intelligence software after Praesidium, which holds approximately 3.2 percent of the company, stated in a letter to its board that it would help it explore value-enhancing ideas for all owners. Its shares rose in after-hours trading.

Vitesse Semiconductor - The company announced a common stock offering of an indeterminate amount through Needham. Its shares dropped in after-hours trading.
