Free Wi-fi? How about free wireless smartphone charging?

Starbucks is expected to announce on Thursday that it will begin to offer wireless smartphone charging stations on tabletops and counters in the U.S., according to a report in The Seattle Times.

The company told the Times that it expects to offer wireless cellphone charging at all of its locations, as well as its Teavana tea bars.

The coffee giant was one of the first food and beverage chains to offer Wi-fi, and the move to offer free wireless charging is seen as another effort to attract business throughout the day.
