Kerry announces 72-hour humanitarian cease-fire in Gaza


Israelis and Palestinians have have agreed to a 72-hour humanitarian cease-fire in Gaza. It will start at 1 a.m. ET, Friday.

Both parties will keep troops on the ground during the pause.

Israeli and Palestinian delegations will go to Cairo for discussions, according to a tweet from Marie Harf, a deputy spokeswoman for the State Department.
