After-hours buzz: AIG, Avis, Tenet Healthcare & more

Check out which companies are making headlines after the bell Monday:

American International Group - The insurer reported earnings per share of $1.25 on revenue of $8.53 billion in revenue, versus expectations of EPS of $1.05 a share on $7.72 billion in sales. Shares gained in after-hours trading.

Avis Budget Group - The car-rental company raised its full-year earnings and revenue guidance, with its shares rising in after-hours trading.

CVS Caremark - The drugstore chain rose in after-hours trading ahead of its scheduled earnings before Tuesday's open.

LeapFrog Enterprises - The maker of educational toys fell in after-hours trading after posting weak first-quarter results and full-year guidance that disappointed.

Tenet Healthcare - The operator of hospitals and related facilities fell in after-hours trading after posting second-quarter results.
