Fans of Napoléon Bonaparte will soon be able to carry his DNA with them wherever they go, when hundreds of luxury watches containing his hair go on sale.
Swiss luxury watch company De Witt will charge 10,000 Swiss francs ($10,354) for each timepiece—which will include half-millimeter pieces of the famed French military leader's locks.

The hair was on sale at an auction earlier in November, at which Viviane de Witt, CEO of De Witt watchmakers, bought two strands.
Jérôme de Witt, Viviane de Witt's husband and founder of the Swiss watch company, is a direct descendant of Napoleon.
The company said around 500 watches containing hair strands would be produced.
"Napoleon was already quite idolised while he was alive, when he got his hair cut people picked it up and kept it," De Witt said in a statement.
Several other items belonging to Napoleon were also sold at the auction in November, with one anonymous South Korean buyer paying £1.5 million ($2.4 million) for his black hat worn during one of his famous battles.
