Sustained declines in dairy prices are lowering costs on cheesecake and chocolate bars, increasing profit margins and raising analyst ratings on related stocks.

Investment banking and asset management firm William Blair upgraded Cheesecake Factory on Jan. 20 and raised its fourth-quarter earnings-per-share estimate by 2 cents, citing falling milk prices.
