After a tough Q1, is the retail sector ready for a rebound?

Stephanie Link, TIAA Global Asset Management Managing Director and Active Equities Portfolio Manager, sees bright spots.

Link points to bullish comments from PVH's CEO Emanuel Chirico saying business is getting better.

During trade on Wednesday, retail stocks rallied across the board. Shares of PVH moved more than 3-percent higher on Chirico's positive commentary.

"These are really interesting trends. We will see if it lasts, but I'm encouraged," she added.
