    HOUSTON _ Cabot Oil& Gas Corp. on Friday reported a second-quarter loss of $27.5 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier. The average estimate of 16 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 4 cents per share. Eleven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $369.5 million.
