    MEDFORD, Ore. _ Lithia Motors Inc. on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $41.1 million. The average estimate of analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.19 per share. Lithia Motors expects full-year earnings to be $5.95 to $6.05 per share.

  • EPS $1.30- $1.32 vs prior forecast $1.36- $1.38. *Shares of rivals AutoNation, Penske, others also fall. Shares of rivals AutoNation Inc fell 5 percent, also erasing its gains this year.

  • Oct 13- Car seller Lithia Motors Inc estimated its quarterly profit missed its forecast as used car prices fell, driving down the company's shares nearly 11 percent in premarket trading. Lithia Motors said it now expects $1.30- $1.32 per share in adjusted earnings from continuing operations for the third quarter ended Sept. 30- below its forecast of $1.36- $1.38.

  • DETROIT, Oct 25- AutoNation Inc, the largest U.S. automotive retailer, posted slightly lower than expected third-quarter earnings and revenue on Thursday and its shares fell more than 7 percent. In an interview, Chief Executive Mike Jackson said the earnings miss was due to AutoNation buying back fewer shares than expected.
