LONDON, June 26- European stocks fell on Friday, with investors discouraged by a lack of progress in Greek debt crisis negotiations heading into crunch talks at the weekend. The euro zone Euro STOXX 50 was down 0.7 percent, while Greek shares fell 1.4 percent.

  • June 25- German potash producer K+ S said on Thursday it has received a takeover proposal from larger Canadian rival Potash Corp of Saskatchewan Inc, starting a new takeover saga in the fertilizer industry. Potash Corp would not comment. In 2010, Potash Corp itself was the target of a $39 billion hostile bid from global mining giant BHP Billiton.

    FRANKFURT, June 25- Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc is eyeing. Canada's Potash Corp could offer 40 euros per share, which would value K+ S at more than 7 billion euros, Handelsblatt wrote in a pre-release of a story to be published on Friday. The German company's shares were up 10 percent at 31.50 euros in after-hours trading in Frankfurt.
