President Barack Obama issued an executive order on Friday creating an interagency group to oversee development of natural gas from shale deposits as companies push the administration to approve terminals to export the fuel.
Myanmar meets less than half of its natural gas demand because most of its output is exported to Thailand, leaving the country struggling with regular blackouts and a heavy dependence on imports, government officials said.
