After the now bankrupt Kodak asked to have its name removed from the theater that hosts the Oscars, it is being dragged into court by the theatre owner over its sponsorship contract.
Eastman Kodak, the inventor of the hand-held camera, plans to stop making digital cameras, pocket video cameras and digital picture frames in the first half of 2012 in a bid to cut costs.
Eastman Kodak, which invented the hand-held camera and brought the world the first pictures from the moon, has filed for bankruptcy, capping a prolonged plunge for what remains one of America's best-known firms.

Stocks rebounded from earlier losses to finish narrowly mixed Thursday, with the S&P adding small gains to the New Year rally, ahead of a key government employment report.
