Tim Strazzini

Tim Strazzini is currently a Managing Director at Pali Capital Inc. and a contributor on "Fast Money."

Before this, Tim was an independent trader of equity options and futures. Prior to investing his own money, Strazzini was a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch where he was head of equities and derivatives for Global Wealth Management. In this role, he expanded the team to twenty people covering three desks: research sales and strategies, trading (options and equities) and order flow management. Strazzini directed all operations for the $1 billion revenue business of Merrill Lynch high-net-worth block and retail order flow across all equity securities.

Strazzini also worked for Susquehanna as an associate concentrating on options trading and arbitrage research. He created an analytics product and team for the coverage of options market making with a core focus on hedging efficiencies index arbitrage, correlation trading and special event risk. He launched a firm-wide online corporate calendar for live time event risk assessment to 200 trader/market makers.

Strazzini earned a bachelor degree in history and political science from Emory University.
