Saijal Patel, a Certified General Accountant and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation, will be presenting market reports from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Australia into programs such as Worldwide Exchange, Capital Connection and Europe Squawk Box. She will also provide hits into Pakistan, India and Australia.

Prior to working for CNBC, Saijal worked, both on and off the camera, for Canada’s only business channel, Report on Business Television. She worked as a producer and as a stocks reporter covering Canadian, US and International markets.

Saijal has also had 8 years working in the investment industry, which includes wealth and tax planning, and working as an associate analyst in equity research for BMO Nesbitt Burns, a Canadian investment bank.

Saijal has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba.
