Centrica is planning to build a wind farm off the coast of Skegness entering a joint venture with US-based TCW. This partnership has “introduced a new investor to offshore wind and the industry should feel good about that,” Sarwjit Sambhi from Centrica told CNBC Wednesday. “It’s a sign that infrastructure funds are now confident of investing in offshore wind,” he added.
