Since China's entering of the World Trade Organization nine years ago, trade between the US and China has "absolutely exploded," Ambassador Ron Kirk, US Trade Representative told CNBC Thursday. The US must keep its eye on the "bigger picture" and not be distracted by a handful of disputes, he added.
