UK software firm Sage Group said business conditions stabilized in the second half of its fiscal year, but it will continue to focus on cost cutting. CEO Paul Walker told CNBC that small and medium sized businesses remain very cautious.
The FTSE 100 looks set to rise toward 5,500 points even though it appears quite overbought at current levels, Steven Mayne from Falcon Securities told CNBC Wednesday. Mayne thinks that shares of Rio Tinto could rise, but Tesco shares could fall.
