Simon Hobbs is host of The Leaders, a new series of one–to-one interviews with Europe's business and political elite. Hobbs is an award-winning anchor and has presented a number of programmes on CNBC Europe, most recently European Closing Bell and Europe Tonight.

Hobbs cut his teeth in radio, producing some of the biggest names in UK broadcasting before moving to television.  His work for news organisations includes Reuters, Sky News, BBC, Channel 4 and London Weekend Television.  In November 2006, Hobbs was named International TV Presenter of the Year by the Association for International Broadcasters (AIB).
