About The Show

"Business Turkey" is a weekly program covering major economic and political developlments in Turkey with in-depth news analysis. Anchored by Zeynep Erataman, "Business Turkey" gives the viewer up-to-date information on the İstanbul Stock Exchange as well as Turkey's money, bond and foreign exchange markets.

A regular segment includes high-level guests mostly from the business world, commenting on major stories. The viewers are also informed about upcoming economic and political events, including data releases.

"Business Turkey," produced by CNBC-e, provides a unique television coverage of one of the leading emerging markets and its blossoming business environment. Turkey has reduced annual inflation to single digits from nearly 70 percent and secured an average 8 percent annual growth rate since the 2001 financial crisis. While running a disinflation programme backed by the IMF, the country is also making reforms as a European Union candidate.
