WSJ's Ethan Smith: Online Music Hitting The Right Note?

The online music sales wars are heating up with Microsoft, Yahoo and others jumping into the fray this holiday season. All are trying to hit the right note with today's music lovers.

But can anybody catch Apple's dominant I-Tunes music service?

Ethan Smith posed that question on Morning Call's Wall Street Journal Technology Report.

Smith told Liz Claman it remains to be seen if anyone will succeed. He says Microsoft has the financial resources to mount a sustained challenge. He also said non-traditional player eMusic... which is the number 2 music service in the industry... is a company to watch. They own approximately 10% of the market.
