Intuit to Buy Online Banker

Financial software company Intuit has agreed to buy online banking services provider Digital Insight for $39 a share in cash or $1.35 billion, Intuit said Thursday morning.
The transaction is expected to reduce Intuit's adjusted earnings by 2 cents to 3 cents per share in its current fiscal year, and add to earnings in fiscal 2008.
The companies expect the deal to close in the first calendar quarter of 2007.
