Lance Lee – CEO of Oneshare.com – was on “Street Signs” with Erin Burnett this afternoon. His company sells individual shares of a company – mainly as gifts from adults to children – complete with stock certificate, customized frames and engraved personalized messages. He says he started the company first because of the demand for a single share of, say, The Walt Disney Co. or Coca-Cola – but also as a way of teaching children about the stock market.

Sales are driven more by brand than performance. Among the top performers: DreamWorks, Harley-Davidson , Wal-Mart , General Motors , and others. Disney is the number one product sold. A share of Disney with the works tops out at $146.

Stock-ing Stuffer
Oneshare.com lets users buy one share of a company complete with a stock certificate and a frame for the holidays, with Lance Lee, OneShare.com CEO.
