ABN AMRO to Cut 900 Jobs in 2007

Dutch financial services company ABN AMRO said it will cut 900 jobs or 5% of its North American workforce next year in an effort to reduce costs and improve operational
performance.

The cuts will occur across nearly all areas of the bank and at all major locations, ABN Amro said in a statement. A majority of the cuts are expected by June. ABN AMRO's businesses include LaSalle Bank.
