British Telecom International President Francois Barrault told CNBC’s Maria Bartitomo on “Squawk Box” that the company will continue to seek growth opportunities after a wave of recent acquisitions.

Acquisitions – including three in the U.S. – helped BT revenue outside its home market of the U.K. grow about 48% last year.

Barrault also emphasized the company’s need to “deliver the right services for customers,” emphasizing the global nature of the business. Barrault said one of BT's chief goals was to make sure the same services are available in every region in which it operates.

Like many telecom companies in the past decade, BT has had to aggressively reshape its strategy amid a fierce competitive environment.

BT’s ADR’s are trading near their 52-week high.
