Federal antitrust regulators have approved Coca-Cola's purchase of juice and tea maker Fuze Beverage, according to a notice issued by the Federal Trade Commission Monday.

The FTC cleared the transaction without requiring any changes to the deal.

Atlanta-based Coca-Cola will acquire all Fuze Beverage brands, including the Vitalize, Refresh, Tea and Slenderize lines. The company said Feb. 1 that it expects to close the transaction this year.

Shares of Coke rose on the New York Stock Exchange.
