Here’s today’s next head to head battle: Industrial giant United Technologies (UTX) versus steel powerhouse Nucor (NUE). The guys will decide the winner: right here, right now.

United Technologies gets the #1 seed; from elevators to helicopters this team does it all and the Street loves them for it. But some pundits are saying Nucor Steel could do the impossible and ride a red hot steel market to the first 16-1 upset ever.

The first round also finds #8 Toyota Motors (TM), automaker to the world, matching up against #9 Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), supermarket to the world.

And in another foreign invasion, PetroChina (PTR) heads right into Hoosier country to take on the #7seed Deere & Co (DE).

And watch out for coach Aubrey McClendon of #3 seed Chesapeake Energy (CHK). He's been called the Billy Donovan of the energy sector.

Now, back to the UTC/NUE matchup.

Eric Bolling says this is an infrastructure company pitted against hot rolled steel. He’s going with steel.

Guy Adami says inventories are down, prices are up and he loves the steel sector. Yes, he loves NUE.

Tim Strazzini says UTX is a great company, but purely on valuation he’s going with NUE.

Jeff Macke says this is a close match, but he’s going with NUE.

The Commisioner disagrees – NUE already has 3 votes and he declares itthe winner.

Here’s a quick recap of the games already played. The winners are in bold:

#8 Toyota (TM) vs. #9 Archer-Daniels-Midland (ADM)

#5 Exelon (EXC) vs. #12 Dupont (DD)

#4 BHP Billiton (BHP) vs. #13 Boeing (BA)

#6 Valero (VLO) vs. #11 Flowserve (FLS)

#3 Chesapeake Energy (CHK) vs. #14 Exxon Mobil (XOM)

#7 Deere & Co. (DE) vs. #10 PetroChina (PTR)

#2 Schlumberger (SLB) vs. #15 Alcoa (AA)
