Actor Stephen Collins is now in second place in "Trading With The Stars," moving up from 5th. He appeared on "Morning Call" today (the show he's playing for) and talked to CNBC's Michelle Caruso-Cabrera and Dylan Ratigan. Stephen says the switch from regular investing to "contest investing" is hard for him to get around. He says he prefers picking stocks with dividends in real life, but realized that doesn't work here. Stephen says whatever the case--current leader Jonathan Tucker is "going down."
Stephen was joined by Bernie Shinkel from the Huntington New Economy Fund. Bernie says he likes three of Stephen's picks so far--Apple, AT&T and Toyota. But Bernie says he did have some suggestions for buys and sells. Bernie left Stephen with a couple of words--"complete makeover" if he wants to win. Seems like Stephen's doing pretty well on his own!! Though Stephen did ask about Imclone . Bernie's answer?? Not for the contest!!
