AT&T, Napster Team Up To Offer Free Music Downloads

AT&T and Napster said Monday that they agreed on a deal to give AT&T customers free unlimited access for one year to more than 3 million song tracks through Napster To Go . Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The service, valued at $180, allows wireless and broadband subscribers to customize playlists on their PCs and transfer songs to compatible wireless phones and music devices.

The offer will be available beginning April 1 to new or existing AT&T customers with qualifying plans.
