Stock Update: The Best And Worst Of Your Trades

Hey folks. Here's a look at the contest stocks making "news." The best performing stocks seemed to gain steam from takover news. Worst performers lost on earnings. The most actives remain mostly the same--except for the appearance of Charter Comm. Again, "Mad Money's Jim Cramer seems to have had an affect there. Take a look:

Best performing trades by % gain from Wednesday's close to Thursday's close:
Medimmune : If you bought on Wednesday at $37.84 and held/sold on Thursday with a close of $43.63, the contestant gained 15.30% on the trade. News that MEDI executives are exploring a sale of the company.
Ipsco : If you bought on Wednesday at $130.90 and held/sold on Thursday with a close of $145.96, the contestant gained 11.50% on the trade on acquisition news.
Sinopec Shanghai : If you bought on Wednesday at $53.81 and held/sold on Thursday with a close of $59.39, the contestant gained 10.37% on the trade. Sinopec Shanghai is more than 50% owned by Sinopec, and swung to a net profit in the first-quarter on lower crude oil costs and higher oil product prices in China.

Worst performing trades by % loss from Wednesday's close to Thursday's close:
Nautilus : If you bought on Wednesday at $16.01 and held/sold on Thursday with a close of $13.67, the contestant lost 14.62% on the trade. Nautilus warned of drastically lower earnings for the first-quarter.
USANA Health Sciences : If you bought on Wednesday at $45.45 and held/sold on Thursday with a close of $41.35, the contestant lost 9.02% on the trade.
