CNBC Mobile - Sole News Genre To Nab Nomination at MIPCOM Awards

Singapore, 3 October, 2006 – CNBC Asia Pacific, part of the CNBC global network, the world leader in business news, is the sole recipient of a nomination for the 2006 MIPCOM Mobile TV Screenings and Awards, for news genre.

170 candidates from 34 countries submitted 290 projects, ranging from dramas to documentaries, from news programs to comedies. CNBC Asia Pacific’s mobile news feature was nominated for ‘Best Repurposed Content from Existing Film or TV Property’. CNBC Mobile was one of 5 projects nominated in this category.
