Contest Stocks: Vonage Hits A Trifecta!

Here's our contest "stock report" on what you're buying and selling and well with. Best and worst performers are being doming by earnings news. And Vonage got quite a boost yesterday, from the news of a court ruling in it's favor--in it's attempt to sign up new customers while it fights a patent suit from Verizon.We reported that in the blog yesterday. So Vonage ended up in best performer, most active and widely held--a trifecta for sure. Here ya go:

Vonage : If you bought on Monday at $2.89 and held/sold on Tuesday with a close of $3.72, the contestant gained 28.72% on the trade. Vonage won a court ruling allowing it to continue to sign up new customers while it appeals the court decision that it violated patents held by Verizon.
Woodward Governor : If you bought on Monday at $42.93 and held/sold on Tuesday with a close of $49.99, the contestant gained 16.45% on the trade. The maker of energy control products reported strong earnings and raised full year guidance.
Snap On : If you bought on Monday at $48.79 and held/sold on Tuesday with a close of $56.20, the contestant gained 15.19% on the trade. The hand-held tool maker reported strong earnings.
Whirlpool : If you bought on Monday at $90.35 and held/sold on Tuesday with a close of $102.85, the contestant gained 13.84% on the trade. Up on strong earnings.
Halozyme Therapeutics : If you bought on Monday at $8.95 and held/sold on Tuesday with a close of $9.97, the contestant gained 11.40% on the trade.

II-VI : If you bought on Monday at $36.08 and held/sold on Tuesday with a close of $29.06, the contestant lost 19.46% on the trade.The maker of optical and electronic instruments provided guidance below analyst estimates and cut its full-year revenue outlook.
Kelly Services: If you bought on Monday at $33.58 and held/sold on Tuesday with a close of $30.01, the contestant lost 10.63% on the trade. The staffing firm missed expectations and provided second-quarter guidance below estimates.
Forward Air : If you bought on Monday at $33.69 and held/sold on Tuesday with a close of $30.25, the contestant lost 10.21% on the trade. On weak earnings.
