Contest Stocks: Celeb Had Right Idea For Everyone

Well, our contest "stock report" has some interesting news. One of the best performers was a stock (FWLT) that celeb/actor Stephen Collins had on his list--and one that put him in the lead of Trading With The Stars (more on that in another post). In fact, it was the best of the best performers. And one pick that made the most actives, was one recommended yesterday by guest blogger Timothy Sykes--SIX. Here you go:

Foster Wheeler: If you bought on Tuesday at $73.15 and held/sold on Wednesday with a close of $87.75, the contestant gained 19.96% on the trade--up on strong Q1 earnings.
Arrow International Inc.: If you bought on Tuesday at $32.84 and held/sold on Wednesday with a close of $38.82, the contestant gained 18.21% on the trade--ARRO announced intentions to explore strategic alternatives, including possible sale.
Macrovision Corp. : If you bought on Tuesday at $24.01 and held/sold on Wednesday with a close of $28.02, the contestant gained 16.7% on the trade--upgraded to buy.
Barnes Group: If you bought on Tuesday at $24.80 and held/sold on Wednesday with a close of $28.61, the contestant gained 15.36% on the trade--up on strong Q1 earnings.
Efunds Corp.: If you bought on Tuesday at $28.49 and held/sold on Wednesday with a close of $31.91, the contestant gained 12% on the trade--EFD said it will consider selling itself as the e-payments industry becomes bigger and more global.

Allscripts Healthcare Inc. : If you bought on Tuesday at $27.06 and held/sold on Wednesday with a close of $23.92, the contestant lost 11.6% on the trade--down graded to hold from buy.
Compucredit Corp.: If you bought on Tuesday at $38.32 and held/sold on Wednesday with a close of $34.75, the contestant lost 9.32% on the trade--cut to Under perform from Market perform.
